Exceptionally nice and English speaking staff and relaxed atmosphere with conventional seating and sunken Japanese style seating. Fantastic place to have an ice cold beer after making the hike down from the temple. Owner have us tips on where to get the best noodles :-)

We walked past here knowing we would have a drink after walking around Kyoto. Just something about this Cafe that attracted us to it. Glad we had a drink here & got to meet the friendly owner. Its a family owned Cafe that has been around for more than a 100 years. Thank you for having a chat with us Paul & see you soon! From Sean & Denise (my Mother from Scotland) . Cheers!
